Gill Dixon put the final nail in the coffin with a strong performance to beat Paul Kelly 21-13.
The last match of the night left little to play for other than personal pride with both players putting on a bit of entertainment for the crowd being the last game on the green, with Bob Clark performing well to lead 18-6 against Peter Jones, with a strong fightback from the latter to get back to 18-20, only for Clark to get the one chalk needed to secure a 21-18 win.
